For this treatment the pain level is considered minimal a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to numb the area prior to the treatment. Light pain or discomfort may occur, it is usually described as a small scratch when the needle is administered.

Fillers are not permanent. How long they last depends on many factors such as the type of filler used and your body's natural metabolism. Fillers do usually last longer in the chin area and can last 12 months plus.

After treatment with dermal fillers, it is common to experience some swelling slight swelling, and bruising at the site of the injection; this will fade after a few days.It is recommended to avoid excess sun exposure, solariums and saunas for at least one week after your treatment.
